The group that initiated this site includes three individuals who were very concerned, at one point in their lives, that they might not see tomorrow. The problems which we encountered in diagnosing and finding effective treatments for our health issues brought us together and led to the creation of CumulusMedical. The focus of our website is to be a valuable tool, a gateway to the best health of your life. Here, you'll discover information not only on healthy living suggestions and medical resources, but also on diagnostic information, treatment alternatives, and a discussion forum where you can interact with individuals who have gone through similar experiences.

I am one of that group of three who had a serious medical condition. We have come together to share our experiences with anyone who may be in a place where hope seems to be vanishing quickly. We know how you feel. Our team includes two individuals who have run many marathons, climbed mountains, gone diving in exotic locales, and today continue to live life to its fullest. Our third member, at 40 years young, was a world ranked multi-sport athlete. Despite our apparent vitality, we all encountered life-threatening medical conditions and had to contend with conflicting medical advice and diverse treatment recommendations. We know firsthand the importance of having our personal medical records readily available electronically and of having the ability to discuss our conditions with others who have had similar medical issues. The access to information, particularly with respect to evaluations and treatments which others had found to be successful, was critical to our own recovery.

Who are we? We are you and your loved ones and your family. We have had serious personal health concerns, we have cared for our elderly parents, and we will try our best to provide a useful medical resource for you. Please register with us!

Take advantage of the CumulusMedical Forum.  Worrying about health issues can be a lonely place when there don't seem to be any solutions. It has been shown that when we discover someone else has experienced what we are going through and we have an opportunity to discuss our common problem and potential solutions, we can move forward... no longer alone. Our forum is a good place to share your concerns with others and perhaps find some hope or motivation. Talking things over with someone who has gone through a similar experience can be very powerful.

There is, however, NO substitute for seeing your Doctor. Find a Doctor Here While alternative advice or opinions may be of interest, if you think something is wrong with you, if you think you need to see your Doctor, please don't wait. I'll repeat, there is absolutely no substitute for seeing your Doctor. The best thing you can do if you think something is wrong is to get an appointment with your Doctor or go to the emergency room... Now! Please don't be more afraid of the solution than the problem!
